Happy Hellos!

My name is Anna and I'm a Pole living recently in Airdrie (near Calgary in Canada), hopeless in love with paper. Usually sitting in my studio between 8pm and midnight, if my energy lasts that long after another day with a toddler Jakob and a baby Lisa. I love to share my crafts with you, please be my guest!

Bears in love =)/Zakochane niedzwiedzie

Hello,
as promised today I will serve you something romantic. I just have a weakness for this kind of colors and style... If you feel bored by these cards, I'm very sorry, but I can't help it....

This card went in the hands of a lovely woman, who is also a stamper and I wish, she has blog too. You should see her cards.... I just love to chat with her - about stamping in particular. I spent a lovely time with her this week! Thanks Wendy!

This card was made based on sketch from Card Patterns #70. I just love their sketches, I will stay with them for a while-I believe...

Speaking of romance in this post... Yesterday on the way home I have seen a couple of bears, probably her and him, because close to them someone have seen a cub bear-their child. A sweet picture-believe me! Of course my camera was at home....No comment...

Talk you soon,

Lack of sleep....

....not because of a baby, because of too much cards/scrapbook pages making and quilting. Yesterday I couldn't stop! I had so much inspiration and energy to craft, I went to bed after midnight. In the morning at 5am our little"alarm clock" Jakob was awake!
But it was worth to be a little tired, but with this result, tatatatataaaaaaaaaa:

The colors were chosen because of a picture below, which was a color challenge from Stamp Simply#145:

In few days, maybe even tomorrow I promise you something romantic......
Interesting for the stampers: I made a little experiment with the next card-I combined 2 different design papers: Graphics45 and Webster's Pages. I was always curious, if that could work and I have to say-a w e s o m e! What do you think, please let me know???

Happy stamping,
kANNAdyjka

Date with a pilot !/Randka z pilotem!

Hello,
today I have an exciting day: I had a date with a pilot - my hubby! He showed me from above our beautiful Okanagan Valley. We even have seen our house. It was great to seat next to him and see how he is talking to the control tower and managing all the instruments... I think driving a car is sooooooooo easy!
Please take a look to our beautiful Okanagan!

As promised I'm showing you today a scrapbook page with our little guy Jakob. On this picture he is sitting by himself with a little help from nursing pillow, just in case someone forgets to keep balance ;) Right now he is almost standing by himself.
I love pictures in sepia and the colors of the papers-definitely they are MINE!

This page was made with a lot of inspiration from:
-The Shabby Room with the beautiful picture below (Cottage Comfort #15)

-The Play Date Date Cafe with this very interesting picture (PDCC #35)
-I used the sketch for the scrapbook page for the Mojo Challenge 144

Now I'm going to work on my sewing machine-a patchwork...I will show you the "master piece" soon.

Talk to you in few days,
kANNAdyjka

No vintage card...

Hello,
this time you can see a card, which has no vintage look at all. I don't make a lot of such cards, but this one was fun to do: nice colors (unfortunately I missed the deadline for color challenge =( ) and a really nice sketch from my challenge blog: Card Patterns #69, which I recently found.

The card is meant for a Canadian friend, who is going soon to Germany to learn the language. I can't wait, when she is back and we can chat in German! Way to go Sharon!

Next time you will see a scrapbook page with a picture of Jakob (who else-hahahahaha!). My first scrapbook page after a while....It was hard to get ideas, but I think I'm in!

Have a nice rest of the week!

I'm alive!

Hello everyone,
I'm really sorry for my blog silence- I have a really good excuse!  We went on vacation for 3 weeks to good old Europe(!!!!) and after that to come back to the Canadian life was a little bit difficult. I was still recovering from my sickness during vacation-I got nice juicy ear infection like my son before vacation (we almost canceled the trip!). One week in Poland I was useless: fever, ear sore and some extras..... So you can imagine how low my energy was.... And vacation is not always relaxing-I tell you that!
OK, enough of the medical history, we have to speak here about serious matters: card making! I'm back in business for you with that:
On Sunday we celebrate in Canada Father's Day. Jakob (our son) ordered this card below for his Papa:

I entered the card for the challenge from Card Patterns #68. Very interesting and sophisticated sketches every week-I love it!
The second card a little bit dark like for summer, but there are my colors, I can't help it! I love these Graphics45 pictures!

Enjoy, talk to you soon!
